Coach Kristen Audet-Fucarile

Director of Metrowest Elite Girls’ Basketball

Head Women’s Basketball Coach for Framingham High School

Coach Kristen Audet-Fucarile is entering her 10th season as head coach of the Framingham High School Girls Basketball Program. Over the past decade, she has helped transform the program — taking the Flyers from a 1-19 season to consistent playoff contenders. Most recently, she led the team to an incredible Elite 8 run, marking one of the most successful seasons in program history.

“I believe in the power of culture,” says Audet-Fucarile. “When we focus on we, us, and ours over me and I, real progress happens. These players put in the work, and I’m so proud of how far we’ve come together.”

Her commitment to basketball in Framingham extends well beyond the high school gym. She founded the Metrowest Elite Summer Camp to bring excitement, energy, and joy to the youth of Framingham. “This camp is a way to build confidence, teach fundamentals, and most importantly — make the game fun. We welcome all ability levels and love seeing campers return year after year.”

Coach Audet-Fucarile previously served as the top guard assistant at Mount Ida College and as a volunteer assistant at Brandeis University. She also spent six years leading the varsity girls program at Maimonides School in Brookline, guiding a team that had never made the postseason to six playoff appearances.

A former four-year starting point guard at Simmons College, she went on to earn her Master of Arts in Education and is currently a 2nd grade teacher at Underwood School in Newton.

Coach Pat Ferdinand:

Head Men’s Coach at Framingham High School

Coach Pat Ferdinand is entering his third season as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Framingham High School. Known for his passion, energy, and ability to connect with players of all ages, Coach Pat has quickly become a fan favorite at Metrowest Elite Summer Camp.

He brings decades of coaching experience and a dynamic presence to the court, making him a valuable leader for both the high school program and the youth community. “There’s nothing more rewarding than helping young players build strong fundamentals and confidence through the game,” says Coach Pat.

Prior to his role at Framingham, Coach Ferdinand spent 10 seasons as the varsity Head Coach at Watertown High School, where he led the team to 4 North Finals, 1 Eastern Massachusetts Title, and a State Championship runner-up finish. He also served as Head Coach at Cambridge School of Weston for five years, earning a league title, and spent time as an assistant at Regis College.

Coach Pat has worked with players from preschool through college and has led camps for the Boston Celtics, Nike/ASA, and other regional organizations. He has twice been named Massachusetts Coach of the Year, including a selection by game officials.

Above all, Coach Pat is the proud father of Clara, who loves attending Metrowest Elite each summer.

Coach Julia Salerno

Framingham Alumni

Julia Salerno is a proud Framingham Girls Basketball alumna and remains closely connected to the program through her work at Metrowest Elite Summer Camp. A former four-year varsity player and senior captain at Framingham High (Class of 2015), Julia brings both experience and Flyer pride to everything she does.

After graduating, she played one year of college basketball at Wheelock College before transferring to Framingham State University, where she earned her degree in Elementary Education. She is now in her third year teaching 5th grade in Westborough, MA.

Julia has spent the past few years coaching in the Framingham Youth Girls Basketball Program, working with a range of grade levels and watching her former players grow both on and off the court. “It’s been so rewarding to see young athletes develop not just as basketball players, but as great people,” she says. “I’m excited to be part of the summer camp team again — it’s a special way to stay connected to the game and the community I love.”

Coach Jared Owen:

Physical Education Teacher at Underwood Elementary School

Coach Jared Owen plays a vital role at Metrowest Elite Summer Camp, bringing energy, fun, and a refreshing change of pace to each day. As an experienced Physical Education, Health, and Wellness teacher at Underwood Elementary School in Newton, Coach Owen knows how to connect with kids and get them moving with purpose and excitement.

A longtime favorite among campers, he leads a variety of outdoor games and activities that give players a break from the gym while still emphasizing key values like teamwork, collaboration, and sportsmanship. His creative approach helps kids build confidence, stay active, and — most importantly — have fun.

Coach Owen previously coached both girls and boys basketball at Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton, MA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Movement and Sports Science from Springfield College and a master’s in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University.

His presence is a big part of what makes camp feel well-rounded and joyful — the campers always look forward to their time with Coach Owen!

Coach Sam Gould

Head Freshmen Boys Coach at Framingham High School

We’re excited to welcome Sam Gould back for his third summer at Metrowest Elite Basketball Camp. Sam has been coaching in the Framingham basketball community since 2016 and has spent the past two seasons leading the JV Girls Basketball team at Framingham High School. Next season, he will take on a new role as the head coach of the Freshman Boys Basketball team. Sam also teaches math at FHS, bringing a thoughtful and structured approach to both the classroom and the court.

At camp, Sam’s experience and consistency make him a valuable part of the team. He brings a strong understanding of the game and a steady, reliable presence to each session. Whether running drills or organizing competitive play, Sam helps keep things focused and productive, making sure campers stay engaged and on task. We’re grateful to have him back for another great summer of basketball.

Coach Allie Regan:

Rising Freshman at Mercy College

Allie Regan is the kind of leader who leaves a lasting impression on everyone she works with—on the court, in the locker room, and at camp. As a senior captain and the heart of the Framingham program, Allie set the tone every single day with her intensity, drive, and relentless commitment to excellence. She led not only through her words, but with her actions—stepping up in big moments, playing with fire and focus, and constantly pushing her teammates to be their best. Her accomplishments speak volumes: 1,349 career points, multiple 30-point games, 111 steals, and recognition as the Bay State MVP. But even more than her stats, it’s her presence, poise, and passion that define her impact.

At Metrowest Elite, Allie brings that same mindset to her role as a camp counselor. She’s a true role model for young athletes—someone who leads with confidence, lifts others up, and shows what it looks like to work hard with purpose and joy. Her competitive spirit is balanced by her ability to teach, inspire, and connect with campers in a way that makes them feel capable and excited to grow. Allie’s influence goes far beyond basketball—she helps shape confident, motivated young players who leave camp better because of her guidance. As she heads to Mercy College to continue her athletic and academic journey in physical therapy, we’re incredibly proud to have her as part of our camp family and know she’ll leave the same legacy here as she did on the court.

Coach Kathryn Bishop

Rising Junior at Endicott College

Kathryn Bishop is an exceptional counselor who brings heart, patience, and energy to everything she does. A rising junior at Endicott College studying Early Childhood Education, Kathryn has a natural talent for working with young athletes and creating a positive, welcoming environment. She often works closely with our youngest campers, helping them build confidence and develop a love for the game from the very beginning. Her gentle guidance and encouraging spirit help each child feel seen, supported, and excited to learn.

Kathryn has been a part of the Framingham Flyers program since her freshman year of high school and continues to give back to the basketball community that helped shape her. Her passion for teaching and her deep understanding of how to connect with kids make her a standout on our staff. Whether she’s leading a drill, tying a shoelace, or celebrating a camper’s first basket, Kathryn brings warmth and enthusiasm to every moment. We are so lucky to have her on our team again this summer.

Coach Zoe Rabinovitz:

Recent Graduate of FHS heading to Israel in the Fall

Zoe’s transformation this season has been truly inspiring. She stepped onto the court with a new level of confidence, embracing her role and finding joy in the game like never before. Her growth wasn’t just in her skillset—it was in her presence, her mindset, and her ability to lift up those around her. Zoe led with quiet strength, made smart decisions, and brought a steady, composed energy that helped our team thrive. Her teammates looked to her not only for what she brought to the game, but for how she carried herself—with focus, grace, and belief in her own journey.

These are exactly the qualities that make Zoe such an incredible role model for younger players. She knows what it means to work through challenges, to stay committed, and to keep growing. Zoe leads by example, showing that real improvement comes from trusting the process and never giving up. Whether she’s on the court or in the community, she brings heart and humility to everything she does. As she heads to Israel for a year of service and leadership, we know she’ll continue to make a powerful impact wherever she goes.

Coach Maddie Gorney

Rising Freshman at UNH

Maddie Gorney is the kind of counselor every camp hopes for—positive, dependable, and deeply invested in helping young players grow. As a senior leader this past season, Maddie brought a contagious energy and quiet strength that lifted her entire team. Whether she was defending the paint, running the floor, or pulling down one of her 110 rebounds, she always played with purpose and heart. Her teammates admired her, not just for her work ethic, but for the way she carried herself—with a constant smile and a team-first attitude that made everyone around her better.

Those same qualities make Maddie an incredible asset to Metrowest Elite as a returning counselor. She leads by example, supports every camper with kindness and patience, and brings a joyful presence to the court each day. Maddie understands how to build confidence in young athletes because she’s lived that journey herself. Her ability to connect with campers, encourage growth, and create a fun, supportive environment is what sets her apart. As she heads off to study Business at the University of New Hampshire, we’re so lucky to have one more summer with her. Maddie’s impact at camp is lasting, and we can’t wait to see the great things she’ll continue to do.

Coach Koreyani Xayasane:

Rising Senior at Framingham High School

We’re excited to welcome Korey back as a returning counselor at Metrowest Elite. Korey made a strong impression this past season as a first-year varsity player, stepping into a larger role with confidence and purpose. Her work ethic, coachability, and consistent effort made her a standout both on and off the court. Whether she was setting screens, grabbing rebounds, or bringing energy on defense, Korey always embraced the moment and gave her all. Her teammates frequently spoke about the impact of her voice in practice—a steady, positive presence that helped elevate the group as a whole.

As a camp counselor, those same qualities shine through. Korey is a natural leader who leads with encouragement, positivity, and example. She understands how to bring out the best in younger players by showing them how to work hard and support one another. Her ability to connect with campers, combined with her energy and enthusiasm for the game, makes her an incredible role model. We’re lucky to have her back this summer and excited for the leadership she’ll bring to the court.

Coach Grace Hanna

Rising Senior Captain

Grace Hanna is the embodiment of leadership, resilience, and true sportsmanship—qualities that make her not only an outstanding teammate, but also an incredible camp counselor. This season, Grace stepped into her role as captain with dedication and heart, ready to lead her team through every challenge. When a torn ACL sidelined her early in the season, she didn’t let that stop her from being fully present. Instead of stepping back, Grace leaned into her leadership even more—offering support, leading team huddles, and keeping spirits high. Her energy and commitment were constant, even when she couldn’t physically be on the court.

That same energy is exactly what makes Grace such an asset at Metrowest Elite. She understands how to lead through example, how to uplift others in tough moments, and how to create a positive, team-first atmosphere. Whether she’s cheering from the sideline, offering thoughtful advice, or building up younger players with a kind word, Grace’s impact is always felt. She’s the kind of counselor younger campers look up to and naturally want to follow. We are so lucky to have her on staff and can’t wait to see her continue to lead with the same heart and purpose this summer.

Coach Jianna DaRocha:

Rising Junior at Framingham High School

Jianna is a fierce competitor who brings toughness, energy, and grit to every environment she steps into—qualities that make her not only a strong player, but also a valuable mentor. Throughout the season, she embraced the challenge of competing at the varsity level, showing up every day with determination and a team-first mindset. That same drive and resilience are what she brings to her role as a returning camp counselor. Jianna leads by example, modeling hard work, focus, and a love for the game that younger players naturally gravitate toward.

As a counselor at Metrowest Elite, Jianna shines. She connects easily with campers, encouraging them to push through challenges and believe in their own potential. Her presence on the court sets a tone of intensity and support, showing kids what it means to compete with heart while still having fun. Jianna’s ability to teach, motivate, and lead makes her a standout role model, and we know our campers will grow stronger and more confident with her guidance this summer.

Coach Talia Murga

Rising Sophomore at Framingham High School

Talia is stepping into her first year as a counselor at Metrowest Elite, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her on staff. After spending years as a camper, Talia knows firsthand what makes this experience special — and now she’s ready to give that same energy and guidance to the next generation of players.

As a rising sophomore at Framingham High, Talia brings valuable experience from a standout freshman season, where she was the only ninth grader to earn a spot on the varsity roster. Balancing both JV and varsity play, she learned how to adapt quickly, work hard under pressure, and embrace every learning opportunity — all qualities that will make her an outstanding mentor at camp.

Talia leads by example. Her positive attitude, determination, and coachability were clear all season, and now she’s ready to inspire younger athletes the same way her counselors once inspired her. With her blend of playing experience and deep connection to the camp, Talia is ready to make a big impact this summer.

Coach Mackenzie Zanella:

Rising Sophmore at Framingham High School

We’re thrilled to welcome Mackenzie Zanella as a first-year counselor at Metrowest Elite this summer. Mackenzie has been part of the Framingham MetroWest basketball community since the third grade and most recently played on the JV1 team, where she continued to grow as a player and teammate. As a longtime camper herself, Mackenzie knows firsthand the impact that this program can have—not just in developing skills, but in building confidence and a true love for the game.

Now, she’s excited to step into a new role and give back to the same camp that helped shape her. Mackenzie brings great energy, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for helping younger players learn and have fun. Her journey from camper to counselor is a full-circle moment, and we’re confident she’ll be a positive influence on our athletes this summer—encouraging them to believe in themselves, work hard, and enjoy every moment on the court.
