We are thrilled to welcome an incredibly experienced and inspiring coach to speak at Metrowest Elite this summer. Coach Glen Magpiong  has over two decades of high school coaching experience, he has led both boys’ and girls’ varsity programs at Wellesley High School and Acalanes High School in California. His teams have consistently achieved success, including a North Coast Section Championship and five appearances in the sectional semifinals. His overall varsity coaching record stands at an impressive 196–96, with a 67% win rate across both boys’ and girls’ teams.

But his impact goes far beyond the win column. Throughout his career, he has focused on developing not just athletes, but confident, resilient individuals. He teaches players to harness their passion, embrace responsibility, and push through adversity. His coaching philosophy emphasizes teamwork, positive thinking, accountability, and the value of hard work—skills that serve players on and off the court.

From leading youth programs like Mini-Raiders and CYO to earning the 2023 Bay State League Coach of the Year award, he has always prioritized mentorship and character-building. We’re excited for our campers to learn from someone who truly understands what it takes to grow as both a basketball player and a person.
