Coach Kristen Audet-Fucarile
Director of Metrowest Elite Girls’ Basketball
Head Women’s Basketball Coach for Framingham High School
Coach Kristen Audet-Fucarile is entering her 10th season as head coach of the Framingham High School Girls Basketball Program. Over the past decade, she has helped transform the program — taking the Flyers from a 1-19 season to consistent playoff contenders. Most recently, she led the team to an incredible Elite 8 run, marking one of the most successful seasons in program history.
“I believe in the power of culture,” says Audet-Fucarile. “When we focus on we, us, and ours over me and I, real progress happens. These players put in the work, and I’m so proud of how far we’ve come together.”
Her commitment to basketball in Framingham extends well beyond the high school gym. She founded the Metrowest Elite Summer Camp to bring excitement, energy, and joy to the youth of Framingham. “This camp is a way to build confidence, teach fundamentals, and most importantly — make the game fun. We welcome all ability levels and love seeing campers return year after year.”
Coach Audet-Fucarile previously served as the top guard assistant at Mount Ida College and as a volunteer assistant at Brandeis University. She also spent six years leading the varsity girls program at Maimonides School in Brookline, guiding a team that had never made the postseason to six playoff appearances.
A former four-year starting point guard at Simmons College, she went on to earn her Master of Arts in Education and is currently a 2nd grade teacher at Underwood School in Newton.
Coach Howie Landau
Head Women’s Basketball Coach for Lincoln Sudbury High School
We are thrilled to welcome Coach Howie Landau back to Metrowest Elite this summer in a new role as a camp counselor! Coach Landau brings an incredible wealth of experience to our staff and is widely respected throughout the Massachusetts basketball community for his leadership, knowledge of the game, and commitment to developing young athletes.
Currently the Head Coach of the Lincoln-Sudbury Girls Basketball program, Coach Landau has led the Warriors to multiple Dual County League championships and consistent success in the MIAA State Tournament. Under his leadership, Lincoln-Sudbury has built a reputation for toughness, teamwork, and defensive excellence. He was also recognized as the Massachusetts Basketball Coaches Association Coach of the Year, a testament to the impact he has had on his program and players.
Prior to Lincoln-Sudbury, Coach Landau spent five seasons as a varsity assistant at Newton North High School and has coached soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, Unified Basketball, and Unified Track & Field. His coaching background also includes time at the collegiate level as a Graduate Assistant and Video Coordinator with the Boston University Women’s Basketball program, where he helped with player development, film breakdown, and day-to-day operations.
What makes Coach Landau such a valuable addition to Metrowest Elite is his ability to connect with athletes while creating an environment that is both challenging and positive. He believes in teaching the game the right way, helping players build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and reach their full potential both on and off the court.
We are incredibly fortunate to have Coach Landau as part of our staff this summer and know that our campers will benefit tremendously from his experience, enthusiasm, and passion for helping young athletes succeed.
Coach Josh Smith:

Coach Josh quickly became a camper favorite during his first summer with us thanks to his contagious energy, positive attitude, and unwavering support of every athlete who stepped onto the court. His ability to connect with players and create an encouraging learning environment made a lasting impression on our campers and staff alike.As the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Middlesex School, Coach Josh brings a wealth of basketball knowledge and coaching experience to Metrowest Elite. Coach Sarah Newcomb

Sarah’s connection to our program runs deep as both a Framingham Girls Basketball alumna and a former Metrowest Elite counselor. Having experienced the program from multiple perspectives, she understands firsthand the positive impact that strong mentorship, hard work, and a love for the game can have on young athletes.
Sarah has always been someone who leads with positivity, energy, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. Her basketball background, combined with her ability to connect with players of all ages, makes her an invaluable member of our staff. As a former counselor, she played an important role in creating a fun, supportive, and challenging environment for campers, and we are excited to have her return once again.

Coach Jared Owen:
Physical Education Teacher at Underwood Elementary School
Coach Jared Owen plays a vital role at Metrowest Elite Summer Camp, bringing energy, fun, and a refreshing change of pace to each day. As an experienced Physical Education, Health, and Wellness teacher at Underwood Elementary School in Newton, Coach Owen knows how to connect with kids and get them moving with purpose and excitement.A longtime favorite among campers, he leads a variety of outdoor games and activities that give players a break from the gym while still emphasizing key values like teamwork, collaboration, and sportsmanship. His creative approach helps kids build confidence, stay active, and — most importantly — have fun.Coach Owen previously coached both girls and boys basketball at Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton, MA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Movement and Sports Science from Springfield College and a master’s in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University.His presence is a big part of what makes camp feel well-rounded and joyful — the campers always look forward to their time with Coach Owen! |
Coach Sam Gould
Head Freshmen Boys Coach at Framingham High School
We are excited to welcome Coach Sam Gould back for his third summer with Metrowest Elite Basketball Camp! A dedicated member of the Framingham basketball community since 2016, Sam has made a lasting impact on countless student-athletes through his leadership, knowledge of the game, and commitment to player development. After spending the past two seasons as the Framingham High School JV Girls Basketball Coach, Sam will take on a new challenge this winter as the Head Coach of the Freshman Boys Basketball team. In addition to coaching, he teaches math at Framingham High School, where he is known for his ability to build strong relationships with students while holding them to high standards.
Sam brings a wealth of experience and a calm, confident presence to camp. His attention to detail, passion for teaching, and deep understanding of the game help campers develop both fundamental skills and basketball IQ. Whether he’s leading drills, coaching game situations, or helping players build confidence, Sam creates an environment that is both challenging and supportive.
What makes Sam such a valuable part of the Metrowest Elite staff is his ability to connect with athletes of all ages. He understands how to motivate players, encourage growth, and make learning the game enjoyable. We are fortunate to have him back for another summer and know his leadership, consistency, and enthusiasm will continue to make a positive impact on every camper who steps onto the court.
Coach Allie Regan:
Rising Freshman at Mercy College
Allie Regan is the kind of leader who leaves a lasting impression on everyone she works with—on the court, in the locker room, and at camp. As a senior captain and the heart of the Framingham program, Allie set the tone every single day with her intensity, drive, and relentless commitment to excellence. She led not only through her words, but with her actions—stepping up in big moments, playing with fire and focus, and constantly pushing her teammates to be their best. Her accomplishments speak volumes: 1,349 career points, multiple 30-point games, 111 steals, and recognition as the Bay State MVP. But even more than her stats, it’s her presence, poise, and passion that define her impact.At Metrowest Elite, Allie brings that same mindset to her role as a camp counselor. She’s a true role model for young athletes—someone who leads with confidence, lifts others up, and shows what it looks like to work hard with purpose and joy. Her competitive spirit is balanced by her ability to teach, inspire, and connect with campers in a way that makes them feel capable and excited to grow. Allie’s influence goes far beyond basketball—she helps shape confident, motivated young players who leave camp better because of her guidance. As she heads to Mercy College to continue her athletic and academic journey in physical therapy, we’re incredibly proud to have her as part of our camp family and know she’ll leave the same legacy here as she did on the court. |
Coach Grace Hanna
Rising Senior Captain
We are thrilled to welcome Grace Hanna back to Metrowest Elite this summer! Grace embodies everything we hope our campers will learn through sports—leadership, resilience, teamwork, and selflessness. As a captain of the Framingham High School girls basketball team, she earned the respect of her teammates and coaches through her positive attitude, strong character, and unwavering commitment to those around her.
What makes Grace such an outstanding counselor is her ability to lead and inspire others. She has a natural gift for making people feel included, supported, and confident in themselves. Whether she’s helping a camper learn a new skill, encouraging a player through a challenge, or simply bringing energy and enthusiasm to the gym, Grace’s impact is immediate and lasting.
Grace understands that great leadership is about more than basketball. She leads by example, treats others with kindness and respect, and consistently puts the needs of her team first. Younger players naturally look up to her because of the way she carries herself and the genuine care she shows for others.

We’re excited to welcome Korey back as a returning counselor at Metrowest Elite. Korey made a strong impression this past season as a first-year varsity player, stepping into a larger role with confidence and purpose. Her work ethic, coachability, and consistent effort made her a standout both on and off the court. Whether she was setting screens, grabbing rebounds, or bringing energy on defense, Korey always embraced the moment and gave her all. Her teammates frequently spoke about the impact of her voice in practice—a steady, positive presence that helped elevate the group as a whole.As a camp counselor, those same qualities shine through.
